Low-cost Makeovers
NOW BOOKING FOR SUMMER 2026
A garden makeover doesn't have to be costly, and when the scope is tuned to a smaller budget, it's still a garden that's built to work well and last. Usually that means a simple patio, a lawn, and some planting around the edges: the essentials of a functional garden, without the extras that push a full transformation up in cost.
If you're not sure whether your budget stretches to what you have in mind, get in touch. We are happy to discuss the possibilities.
FINISH TIME
Autumn 2025

The build standard is the same.
We build the foundations, drainage, and groundwork the same way on every job we take on. We lay the paving to the same specification and standard, with the same sub-base and edges; we fix the timber elements the same way. The finishing might be simpler, but we build what sits underneath to the standard we hold on every project.
The savings sit in the design and materials.
Design and material choices are where we tune the project to the budget. The layouts are cleaner and use fewer intricate cuts, which reduces waste and labour time. We choose paving from our range of well-priced quality stones rather than premium options; for timber, we use treated softwood, still carefully sourced from sustainable producers, rather than hardwood.
The design work is quicker too, which many makeover clients prefer: the turnaround from first meeting to a finished garden is shorter than on a full transformation.
Everything on the quote is upgradeable.
We produce an itemised quote with upgradeable options, so you can see how the budget is used and either reduce or upgrade elements as you like.
You can upgrade during the same project or later, for example, we can swap softwood for hardwood, replace a seeded lawn with turf, or extend the borders. We draw the makeover layouts so those upgrades slot in cleanly rather than requiring a rebuild.

We do both garden design and landscape construction. We're also glad to build for independent garden designers who've drawn the scheme and want a team to carry it through.
