The Team Behind the Gardens

FIFTEEN YEARS, AND STILL GROWING

We take the long view.

The Norfolk Landscaping Co. designs and builds gardens across Norfolk. For 15 years we've taken on projects of every size, from small back-garden patios to full garden transformations, for private homes and commercial sites. From the marshes of Cley and Blakeney to the cliffs of Cromer to the gardens of Norwich, we've come to know what Norfolk asks of a garden. We offer both design and build, all in one team here, from the first sketch to the final stone. Both sides are managed and finished with the same care, held to the same standard.

We think a garden should make a home feel more like itself: easier to sit out in, better to look at, more part of how the household runs. It comes down to a long series of small decisions, taken seriously: the depth we set a post, the way one stone meets another, the drainage no one will see again. We are a team that takes the long view, and it shows in the details. We've designed and built hundreds of gardens across Norfolk over the years, and look forward to many more. If you'd like yours next, send us a quick message.

What we do

We do both garden design and landscape construction. We're also glad to build for independent garden designers who've drawn the scheme and want a team to carry it through. The pages below cover the work in proper detail.

01. GARDEN DESIGN

We design gardens to suit the site, the people who'll live with them, and how the space will actually be used. We work with you through the concept, and the alterations along the way are free.

02. GARDEN LANDSCAPING & BUILD

We build to a standard that holds up over the seasons. The hard landscape stays put, the planting comes into its own, and the garden gets better year on year.

Meet Our Team

Over the years, we've continued to grow and train the team. What the team shares is the way they approach the craft: careful about what gets hidden as much as what's seen, willing to step back and look at a wall or a level twice before signing it off. We're proud of what we do, and the way we do it. The work is professional, consistent, and properly finished. We give the same care to the last detail as the first.

The same care that goes into the gardens goes into the team. People learn alongside more experienced hands, and there's enough time in the schedule to do things properly. We answer questions, lend a hand where it's needed, and catch mistakes before they grow. We make a point of noticing good work too.

OPEN POSITIONS

Garden Designer

Garden Designers work with clients from the first meeting through to the final plan, on private and commercial projects across Norfolk. You'll sit alongside the build team, and your drawings get carried through by people you talk to every day. Best for someone with strong drawing skills, an eye for site and proportion, and design experience to back it.

OPEN POSITIONS

Landcsape Foreman

Minimum experience expectations — should the Garden Designer brief specify years (e.g. "at least 3 years"), or stay open as "design experience to back it"?

OPEN POSITIONS

Project Manager

Add anything about pay, benefits, location specifics, or application format (CV + portfolio for designers, photos of past work for landscapers)? Or keep it simple and let the email exchange cover details?

Join Our Team

We hire people who take the craft seriously and care about doing the work well. We give them real responsibility, mentorship when it's needed, and time to do the job properly.
