Garden Design
NOW BOOKING FOR SUMMER 2026
We design gardens that belong to one place, one home, and one way of living.
Every garden we design is made to fit one place and one person, and to keep fitting them for years to come.
The work begins with time on site and time listening. We want to know how the house sits on its plot, where the morning light falls, what the soil will and won't hold, and what you actually want from the garden once we're gone. The way you'll use it on a Tuesday evening matters as much as the way it photographs in June.
From there, the design takes shape. Patios, planting, levels, structure, lighting. We bring 15 years of work in Norfolk and a clear point of view, but the garden remains yours. Your style, your priorities, your scope. You stay in charge of the decisions; we make sure the decisions you make are informed ones.
No two gardens we design look alike. Each one is shaped by its site, the people who live with it, and what they want it to do. That's where the design hours go.

Stage 1. First meeting
We come to your home, walk the garden with you, and listen to what you have in mind. By the end of the visit we'll have a clear picture of the brief, and we'll send you a no-obligation quote for the design work.
Stage 2. Site survey
We return to take an accurate measured survey of the garden. Levels, dimensions, existing features, the way the boundaries lie. Every drawing that follows is built on what we measure here.
Stage 3. Concept design
We produce the first draft of the design. Layouts, materials, the shape and feel of the garden. You review it with us, and we make alterations until it feels right. There's no charge for those alterations; this stage is where the design gets shaped, not where decisions get rushed.
Stage 4. Final design
The garden plan annotated in full detail, samples of the landscaping materials, and a full planting plan where the project needs one. At this stage we also send a no-obligation quote for the build, prepared by the same team that will carry it out.
Our Design Process
Every garden we design moves through the same four stages, whether the project is a single new terrace or a full transformation. The order doesn't change; the depth of each stage does.
